The Real Reason Your Hair Isn’t Looking Like Your Inspo Photo

You did everything right. You saved the photos. You showed up on time. You sat there for hours. And you still walked out thinking, it is close, but it is not quite it. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone, and it is not your hair's fault.

It starts with the conversation before the color

Full dimensional color done well is not a formula. It comes from understanding your specific hair, your lifestyle, and what you actually mean when you say natural. At Salon Shade every appointment starts with that conversation, a real one, not a quick nod at your phone screen. Our stylist will always help direct you to goals that are achievable, while keeping your hairs integrity as the highest priority.

What full dimensional color actually is

It is depth, movement, and color that lives in the hair the way natural hair does. Light pieces, dark pieces, and everything between, placed with intention so the effect looks like you were born with great hair. It grows out beautifully and looks as good in week eight as the day you left.

Why we train with the best

Techniques evolve fast, so we invest in constant education. There is a good chance the stylist behind your inspiration photo has taught their technique right here in our salon. That is what we bring to your appointment.

Protecting your color at home

Gold Lust Dry Heat Protectant is one of the first things we recommend after color. It goes on dry hair before hot tools, so it protects without adding moisture into your styling. That also makes it your go-to protectant before you re-curl second-day hair. Clients come back for it on their own once they feel the difference. Trust us, a heat protectant and a shower filter will save your hair in between visits.

Come in and see what we mean

If you have been chasing a result you have never quite gotten, we would love to be the team that gets you there. Request a consultation, and let us start with the conversation.
