We created this space not just for beautiful hair — but for women in Nashville who are building careers, raising families, chasing dreams, and doing life boldly.
Salon Shade was born out of friendship, vision, and a shared belief that women deserve more than just a hair appointment — they deserve to feel known, cared for, and completely confident when they walk out the door. We (Megan and Carey Ann) met in the beauty industry and quickly realized we had the same heart for service, as well as the same frustration with the typical salon experience. Too rushed. Too transactional. Not enough intention.
We dreamed of creating something different. A space where luxury meets warmth, where extensions and color are done with precision, where hospitality matters just as much as hair, where women can exhale. So we built Salon Shade — an extensions-focused salon in Nashville rooted in excellence, education, and elevated client care.
