So here's the thing. You found us. Maybe a friend sent you our way (she always knows the good spots), maybe you stumbled onto our Instagram during a late night scroll, or maybe you have been quietly stalking our before and afters for a while now. Whatever brought you here, we are so glad you came.

Let us introduce ourselves properly.

We are Salon Shade, an East Nashville salon that specializes in lived-in color and seamless extensions. But if we are being honest, we do a little more than hair. We do confidence. We do the kind of afternoon that feels less like an errand and more like catching up with your favorite group chat in person. We do the moment you spin around to face the mirror and actually gasp.

We started this whole blog because we have a lot to say, and frankly, a lot to share. Think of this as your behind the scenes pass. The place where we spill all of it. The product we cannot stop recommending. The reason your blowout dies by Tuesday. Whether you are team dimensional color or quietly curious about extensions. The little things that separate hair that looks fine from hair that makes you feel like the main character walking out of the building.

Because here is what we believe at Shade. You deserve hair that feels like you, just the most confident, polished, well-rested version. The version that has her life together even when the laundry is very much not done.

We will keep it real here. No gatekeeping, no salon snobbery, no making you feel like you should already know the difference between a gloss and a toner. Just good information, a little fun, and the occasional strong opinion about why you really do need to stop boxing your color at home. We say it with love.
